The Pirates series is the most intriguing thing to happen to straight porn since Deep Throat, I think. Currently being shown in unis all around the US, it has become the topic of academic interest and debates. As one of those films that pushed the envelope for porn - with special effects and a tight story line worthy of a place in mainstream Hollywood - Pirates 2: Stagnetti’s Revenge continues the legacy and the saga. The film’s writer and director commented in their press release, “The best universities in the country are showing ‘Pirates II’ because they understand that academia is composed of a wide array of opinions. Exposure to these opinions allows adults to formulate their own thoughts first hand. Many people leave the screening of ‘Pirates II’ amazed at the positive portrayal of sexuality.”
